Gear Reviews

I will do my best to make my reviews meet three criteria:

1. Short and to the point. Not to much reading for the info you need.

2. Unbiased, I will not give something a positive review just to get free swag.

3. Trustworthy, no third hand, linked, author unknown reviews here.  I will be personally reviewing with a few close friends who are who’s hard core mountain ethic you can trust.

The Anthony Scale

A- Don’t touch it with a ten foot pole.

A+ Back yard use only.

AA- Good for easy day hikes, car camping, and around town, but not great for the backcountry.

AA+ Good stuff, should hold up.  Has some significant weaknesses but overall a trustworthy product.

AAA- Back country certified.  This is trusted, tested, certified gear that will last and hold up.  You can put your money where your mouth is on this gear.

AAA+ Don’t leave your house with out this piece of amazing gear!  Bomb proof, time tested, last you for the rest of your stinking life gear!
